hello again... finally!

i am back in nouakchott, having been in kaedi for training, and back at site. internet is spotty at best (as in actually worse than usual) and there are many people waiting to use the computers, so this will be a very short entry.

i met the new assaba volunteers! in kiffa, we'll have (inshallah) adrianna (education), andrew (health) and luke (business). they all seem very nice, but could be raving lunatics for all i know. the type who eat human liver with a fine chianti.

in agamamine, which is only 7km away from kankossa, we'll have caleb, who is much like an onion, with his many layers. we've yet to see whether he'll make my cry. (no, i kid. he seems solid.)

i'm doing well, soldiering through with my work (or complete lack of ability to do it, thanks to my mauritanian boss M, curse him.)

i will try to get some more entries out soon.
