oops... and here's the pricture of a pirogue (fishing boat) crossing Kankossa's lake, from Kankossa I to Kankossa II. (Often, there will be two villages facing each other across a river with the same name.) See how overloaded it is? Boats like these freak Annika out. But I think it's beautiful to be on the water, especially at night, when one can actually see the reflections of stars on the water.
