I have added a new gallery of photos to my smug mug photo website, which show my latest trip to Atar and beyond. I'm heading back to Atar on Wednesday, along with Hussein, to do an AIDS training. After that, I'll visit Chinguetty and Ouadane to present Espoir et Vie to the health officials. It should be fun!

I have come to realize just how important mindless laughter can be. Enough with feeling the weight of the world! Do you think Jessica Simpson or Bai Ling worries about any of this development nonsense? I would guess no. They just put on some atrocious outfits and walk the streets. (Which just happens to be a forte of mine...)
